GAISF President Ivo Ferriani has accepted to attend the WMC Convention 2022 at Cheongju City, Republic of Korea in October and will give an Opening Speech.

At a video conference with GAISF representatives* held on March 21, WMC President Si Jong LEE asked GAISF President Ivo Ferriani to attend the WMC Convention 2022 held at the end of October, and GAISF President kindly confirmed his acceptance.

During this meeting, WMC President Si Jong LEE congratulated GAISF President Ivo Ferriani, an IOC member and the President of Association of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations (AIOWF), on the successful hosting of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022.

In response, President Ivo Ferriani said, "We fully sympathize with the value and development of WMC and martial arts Masterships, and along with GAISF Vice President Stephan Fox, we will fully support WMC's path to becoming a part of an Olympic Movement through IOC recognition."

In addition, GAISF Vice Chairman Stephan Fox said, "As we have been in close cooperation with WMC for a long time, we will actively support for the future development of WMC, and we ensure that WMC will see a brighter future."
